Man who hasn't cut hair for two years looks unrecognisable after dramatic trim

Getting a haircut is a good way to treat yourself to some self-care.

Whether it's a little trim or a full blown makeover, many people might make a frequent trip to the hairdressers. But for some, making time to book an appointment can take a while, and in this case around two years.

One man revealed he hasn't cut his hair for a couple of years and even his wife has been making comments about his locks. TikTok user Richmond Barber often shares the most incredible transformations on his platform where he boasts 2.2million followers.

In a clip, which has since scooped over 2,000 likes and dozens of comments, the hairdresser, from Virginia, US, asked the customer how long it had been since he snipped his hair, to which he replied "two years".

He told him: "The wifey says it's getting way too long so..." Then the hairdresser asked him what they would be doing today and whether he had an idea. But the man in the chair wanted to have something new and exciting.

And then within seconds in the video, the transformation blew minds as the fella can be seen sporting a much shorter hairstyle. The Richmond Barber later asked him: "Tell me. How are you feeling right about now? Feeling nervous?"

The customer told him: "A little bit," before adding: "Oh yeah [it's good]." He later revealed he travelled three hours for a haircut as he came from Greensboro, North Carolina. The Richmond Barber said: "Was it worth it? You're looking 20 years younger man."

He even admitted his wife will enjoy his new look. Since it was shared on TikTok, many people rushed to the comments section to praise his vibrant new style. One said: "Wife will be happy." While another added: "He's getting remarried."

And a third cheekily remarked: "Bro's not going to sleep tonight." Then a fourth remarked: "Didn't think he could be saved." Meanwhile others praised the hairdresser for working his magic.

The barber is known for offering mind-blowing transformations to clients who travel across the country for his services. A few months ago, he helped a teenager go from "looking homeless" to a heartthrob after barber's amazing transformation.

In the video, the client says: "I kind of look homeless..." Then the barber asks: "Whose idea was it to let you wear your hair like this?" To which he replies: "Not really any, kind of like a let it do what it wants. See where it gets me, I think it's finally catching up with me."

Then moments later, the barber gets to work to show off the teenager's dramatic transformation. Asking him how he feels before the big reveal, the man replies: "I'm nervous... Holy s***. That is totally different. Wow. That's fire. I love it. That's crazy."
